Naast "One Dance" een van de meest hitgevoelige nummers van Drakes laatste album. Het is eigenlijk een vrij simpel nummer maar door die aanstekelijke drums zit je al snel in die flow. | |

This is another good one from Drake. Not as good as "One Dance", but as far as Drake/Rihanna collabs go this is just behind "Work" but much better than "Take Care" | |
I think what this song accomplishes best is that it finds a way to make the most out of very little. What I mean by this is that it's written in such a way that both performers singing the same lyrics has a certain extra power to it that would otherwise be missing if the song went in another direction. After all, imagine how insufferable this song would be if it was just Drake on his own, delivering that one-sided relationship doctrine. With Rihanna in tow, it brings a layer of intrigue to the song where you can draw your own conclusions about how to interpret the dissolution. It's a bit like "Somebody That I Used To Know" in that respect. Drake needs to lay off the patois though. | |
