A paltry effort. Edit: Hmmm, I still don't like it but the beat is kind of cool and the chorus works but those verses are just awful. Edit again: It goes back to 2 stars. Iggy is just so incredibly unlikeable to me, everything about this song is horrifically obnoxious, even the beat which is the only thing I can actually enjoy. The chorus isn't overly horrible even though it's obnoxious lyrically, but that just fits with the theme of the song; those verses are completely dreadful in every way and I just cannot stand Iggy's rap style. I can only assume that this collaboration happened as a result of Iggy being a huge fan of Charli XCX's song "I Love It" with Icona Pop. Her popularity still surprises me a bit as she doesn't come across overly likeable, nor with the best flow on show. The production really makes me think of "Feelin' Myself", which could be a problem, but really that was the best thing about it. Also the chorus is really catchy so I guess it balances out. 3.3 | |

Finally some music to accompany the hype for her. It's a good track but I much prefer Problem, Work or Black Widow. When I first heard her rap I was tempted to take a line from Tropic Thunder and say 'You're Australian! Be Australian!' because she raps like an American. I actually have heard her speak and she speaks in an strong Australian accent. We have good Australian rappers, but if she rapped in an Australian accent it wouldn't be the same. Liking the featured artist parts better than Iggy is not ideal, but it's how I feel. Just not much of a fan of the rap sorry. Hearing 'rancid' instead of 'fancy' in the early days hasn't helped :P But I'm glad for her success. | |
Irritant en slecht plaatje, dat de hele tijd maar voortkabbelt op een vervelende beat en een ergerlijke stem. Op de een of andere manier vind ik vrouwelijke rappers toch altijd minder dan mannelijke rappers, al kan die laatste categorie er ook wat van met hún irritante nummers. | |

Het refrein van Charli XCX is best catchy. Doet me op de een of andere manier denken aan Gwen Stefani. Voor de rest had Azalea haar mond wel mogen houden. | |

Er is zoveel mis met dit nummer.. Ten eerste: de rap. Ik heb een vreaelijke hekel aan hiphop, maar met haar irritante stem wordt het nog slechter.. En dan zingt ze het ook nog eens op verschillende toknhoogtes, bah.. De muziek maakt het ook niet beter. Herhalend en op de verkeerde momenten (het refrein, als Charli XCX haar stuk zingt. De muzoek past daar totaal niet bij! Bovendien is het stuk irritant en voegt ze amper wat toe). De videoclip is wel leuk, maar dat is niet de reden waar ik nog 2 sterren geef.
