Ultimately, it's actually okay. Good sound and I love the R&B feel, but I can't take it seriously, because, well...it's Justin Bieber. Everything he tries to make cool seems forced and a little embarrassing. | |

Ik vind dit beter dan al dat gepruts met die wannaberappers. Dit klinkt weer een beetje als Boyfriend. Niet zo goed, maar ik kan dit wel aan. | |
Vorweg muss ich schon mal sagen, ich habe gesacht das es im Song darum geht wie er die Herzen bricht...aber ist ja umgekehrt :P Ich habe grundsaetzlich keinen Hass auf Justin, weil ich ihn nicht kenne und ich kein Mensch von Vorurteilen bin...seine Musik ist aber scheisse :P (ausser seinem Album "Belive", hat mir irgendwie total gefallen :o) Und auch hier muss ich sagen, ich habe etwas totall anderes erwartet, ich hbae gedacht er bleibt auf dem DancePop, aber nein, nun ist er beim R&B... Ich habe "Heartbreaker" schon 2mal ganz gehoert...und ich muss sagen, ich hatte keine grossen Probleme damit :o bin ein wenig schokiert :P 4*- PS: denke nicht das JT es lange auf der 1 aushaltet...ausser in den USA, da koennte es seine erste Nr1 werden ;) | |
I don't mind this type of sound of songs, but this really isn't very good. It's boring and obviously appeals to the typical Bieber fan-base (teenage girls I would assume). Doesn't deserve to make the top 10, bit it probably will. | |

It's funny because I've been quite happy to not write off Bieber for quite a while, it's just that all the songs I heard from him after then all found their way to be uniquely undesirable. They were a bit sonically confused too, I mean musically, just what is he trying to accomplish? So throw this into the mix and it all gets even more confused. It's kind of like G-rated "House of Balloons", which my obvious thought was 'duh, he's pretty much a kid', but in actual fact, he's only about a year younger than The Weeknd was when he recorded that, which is sort of weird when I think about it. But then back up, at the end of the day, this still sort of sounds like "House of Balloons". The production isn't as great, and the captivation isn't there by any measure, but then what better can I expect of him? Props for trying. 4.1 | |
